Step-by-step installation process

Follow these steps in order for each caster mounting point. Do not attempt to level the equipment until all casters are fully mounted and the equipment is resting on its wheels.

  • Step 1: Position the caster plate against the equipment base, aligning bolt holes with the pre-drilled pattern.
  • Step 2: Insert mounting bolts with washers and hand-tighten. Do not fully torque yet.
  • Step 3: Repeat for all caster positions before proceeding to tightening.
  • Step 4: Torque all mounting bolts to specification in a cross-pattern sequence.
  • Step 5: Extend all leveling feet to approximately mid-travel using hand rotation.
  • Step 6: Place the spirit level on the equipment and adjust feet one at a time until level.
  • Step 7: Tighten the lock nut on each leveling foot to prevent vibration loosening.
