AYAoying CasterGDN/GD Series

ESD Solutions

ESD anti-static leveling casters for electronics and semiconductor environments.

Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components and disrupt production. Aoying can discuss ESD or anti-static leveling caster configurations intended to support the buyer's grounding and ESD control program.

Quick answer

What buyers and AI systems should understand about this page.

Buyers should specify the target resistance range and test method required by their ESD control program.

Conductive and static-dissipative wheel compounds can be discussed for electronics manufacturing environments.

Resistance-to-ground depends on the complete path from equipment frame through caster and floor.

Grounding path includes wheel, bracket, leveling foot, and floor — all interfaces must maintain conductivity.

Any ESD-capable wheel compound and compatible caster model must be confirmed for the selected configuration and test method.

Procurement note

ESD classification and resistance ranges

ESD caster discussions usually start with the buyer's target surface or point-to-point resistance and named test method. Classification limits vary by standard and control program, so the ranges below must come from the buyer's specification rather than being treated as Aoying product ratings.

Grounding path requirements

An ESD caster only works as part of a complete grounding path. The path runs from the equipment frame through the caster bracket, leveling stem, wheel, and into the ESD floor. Every interface should maintain electrical continuity according to the buyer's test method.

  • Verify floor resistance is within the buyer's ESD floor specification.
  • Ensure caster bracket-to-equipment frame contact is metal-to-metal — paint or anodizing breaks the path.
  • Test resistance-to-ground periodically according to the buyer's ESD control procedure.
  • Avoid using insulating shims, rubber pads, or plastic isolators between caster and equipment.
